Fraudulent Account Confirmation Email Messages
On the afternoon of December 7, 2007, University of Arkansas email account holders started receiving email messages purporting their account will be removed should they not respond to the message or log into the UAMail system. This message is completely fraudulent and was not sent on behalf of the University.
University IT Services (formerly Computing Services) recommends that our users ignore the message and delete it. Users that may have replied to the email message should immediately change your password using PASSweb ( https://www.uark.edu/passweb ) to prevent unauthorized access to your account.
